If you're here learning about Jesus for the first time, AWESOME! You're on the right track. 

Jesus is the son of God! He was crucified on the cross, ultimately to pay for our sins and be the means for our reconciliation to God.

"Now when the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and what took place, they were extremely terrified and said, "Truly this one was God's son!" 

He defeated death and rose on the third day !

"But the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised, just as he said." 

Now we have access to salvation through our savior. We must believe upon him and surrender our lives to become more Christlike, and bring others to Christ !

"All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
